How it works
Write in Gmail
Tone Mirror is being built Chrome first with Gmail as the MVP writing surface.
Scan on demand
Free beta users manually request tone feedback when they want help reviewing a draft.
Review before sending
The response helps you understand how the draft may land emotionally before you send it.
Current beta scope
Chrome Web Store availability and paid Pro features are future scope and are not available yet.
Privacy-first handling
Tone Mirror sends draft text to a secure backend and Anthropic for tone analysis when you request a scan. Draft message text is not stored by Tone Mirror.
Supabase handles authentication and usage metadata, Vercel hosts backend requests, and Chrome storage keeps the auth session and scan-mode preference.
Free beta status
Launch preparation is underway
Tone Mirror is preparing for a free beta launch with authentication from day one. Payment features may be considered later, but they are not part of the first launch.
