Overview
Tone Mirror is a Chrome extension from TnUC Creations that helps users understand how Gmail draft messages may land emotionally before sending. This policy applies to Tone Mirror at https://tnuccreations.com/tone-mirror-privacy.html.
Information Processed
When you request a tone scan, Tone Mirror sends the draft message text to the Tone Mirror backend for analysis. The backend sends the text to Anthropic to generate tone feedback.
Tone Mirror does not store draft message text. Draft text is processed only to return the requested analysis.
Account and Usage Data
Supabase is used for authentication and usage tracking. This may include account identifiers, sign-in metadata, scan counts, and related usage metadata needed to operate the free beta.
Local Extension Storage
The Chrome extension may store your authentication session and scan-mode preference in Chrome storage so the extension can keep you signed in and remember your selected settings.
Service Providers
Tone Mirror uses the following service providers:
- Supabase for authentication and usage metadata.
- Vercel to host backend requests.
- Anthropic to provide AI tone analysis.
Lemon Squeezy may be used for payments in the future, but paid plans and payment processing are not active for the current free beta launch direction.
Gmail and Chrome
Tone Mirror is currently Chrome first and Gmail first. It works with Gmail draft content only when you use the extension to request feedback.
Data Retention
Tone Mirror does not retain draft message text. Account and usage metadata may be retained as needed to operate authentication, prevent abuse, measure beta usage, and support the service.
